The last flight: CY317

Flight CY317, Trident 1E, 5B-DAE, was the last flight which landed in Nicosia via Rome. On command of the airplane was Captain Adamos Marneros. Due to heavy shelling of the airport premises, 5B-DAE was destroyed after it safely land at 03.55 am local time of the 20 of July 1974

The NIC logo is inspired by the baggage tags used by airline carriers to route checked luggages to their final destinations. It aims to remind that the Nicosia International airport was once fully operational.
